Hi I'm Kate!

I'm an artist, art teacher and mum of 2. I always loved drawing and painting from a young age and in my twenties became an art teacher. However as life got busy, my own art somehow took a back seat. In my mid-thirties, I became a mum—twice in 18 months—and during the pandemic found myself with two little ones under 3! I craved a quiet space just for me. I began painting again to unwind and decorate our rental home, especially the kids’ rooms, which were always changing. I started with whimsical creatures like dinosaurs and animals and soon, friends and family were asking for commissions. And so a little business was born!

My work is calm, delicate and expressive, with soft tones, playful lines and a peaceful feel. I hope each piece brings a spark of joy to your space.
